Display Network Ad Placement & Brand Safety

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This article walks through how Influ2 ad placement works and what's automatically excluded to protect your brand.

Ad Placement

Influ2 delivers ads across six channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, Google Display, Amazon Display, and Bing Display. For display ad channels, ads are placed across a large pool of third-party publisher sites rather than a single app or feed.

For display ads, your ad can appear as a banner or as a native ad — a format designed to blend into the surrounding content of the page it's shown on, rather than a standalone advertising platform like a social feed.

How brand safety works

Influ2 applies brand safety settings inside every display network it uses, so your ads are kept away from content that could put your brand in an awkward spot. Specifically, ads are never shown on websites associated with any of the following categories:

  • Pornography

  • Alcohol

  • Racist content

  • Violations of privacy policies

  • Drugs

  • Gambling

  • Fake news

  • Conspiracies

  • Sensitive topics

  • Shock content

  • Obscenity

  • Health issues

  • Disasters

  • Road accidents

  • Clickbait

  • War

  • Terrorism

  • Arms

These exclusions are built into the display networks themselves and apply automatically to every program — you don't need to configure anything for this baseline protection to be in place.

Why there's no fixed site list

Display delivery isn't targeted at a static list of websites. Instead, Influ2 finds your audience by delivering ads to the specific people in your target accounts wherever they're already spending time online, across the publisher inventory available through Google, Amazon, and Bing. That's what makes contact-level delivery effective — but it also means the exact mix of sites shifts from campaign to campaign and audience to audience, rather than being a fixed list decided in advance.
