How to format your Ad creative

You can manage all your ad creatives in the Content section of your Influ2 account. Influ2 supports major advertising channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and display networks like Google, Bing, and Amazon.

Supported ad formats

Influ2 supports two content types:

  • Image ads (social, native, and display)

  • Video ads (social and native)

Every ad requires:

  • A landing page URL (ungated pages recommended)

  • Properly formatted UTM parameters (Influ2 automatically adds utm_source=Influ2, utm_campaign, and utm_term)

Image ad specifications

File requirements

  • Formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF (GIF only for display)

  • Max size: 8 MB

Social image ads

  • Formats: Single image or carousel

  • Required image sizes: 1080×1080 and 1200×628

  • Required fields:

    • Facebook page URL

    • LinkedIn page URL

    • Primary text

    • Title

    • Description

Carousel ads

  • Upload 2–10 images (1080×1080 each)

  • Each card includes its own title, description, and landing page URL

Native image ads

  • Required image sizes: 1080×1080 and 1200×628

  • Fields: Title, primary text, image(s)

Display ads

  • Required sizes: 300×250, 728×90

  • Optional sizes: 300×600, 160×600, 970×250, 320×50

  • Formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, or GIF

  • Text fields: Not required

Video ad specifications

Videos should be no longer than 30–45 seconds for optimal performance.

File requirements

  • Formats: MP4, MOV, M4V

  • Max file size: 1 GB

  • Max resolution: 1920×1920

  • Recommended ratios: 1:1, 16:9, or 9:16

  • Thumbnail: PNG, JPG, or JPEG (max 8 MB)

Social video ads

Fields:

  • Facebook page URL

  • LinkedIn page URL

  • Title

  • Primary text

  • Description

  • Video file + thumbnail

Native video ads

Fields:

  • Title

  • Primary text

  • Video file + thumbnail

Video caption tips

Keep captions visible and readable:

  • Placement: Keep captions in the center safe zone—avoid the top 15% and bottom 25% of the frame.

  • By video format:

  • Vertical (9:16 / 4:5): Place captions slightly below the speaker's chin; avoid the bottom third.

  • Square (1:1): Keep centered, away from the bottom CTA.

  • Text style: Use burned-in captions (carbon captions), not auto-generated.

  • Color: Use white text with black outline or on a semi-transparent black box.

  • Font: Bold sans-serif recommended (Arial, Helvetica, Montserrat).

  • Length: Keep text short (max 2 lines).

  • Preview: Always preview in Influ2 before launching.

Accompanying text requirements

  • Primary text (social carousel): Max 150 characters

  • Primary text (social single image): No limit

  • Primary text (native): Max 90 characters

  • Title (social): Max 40 characters

  • Title (native): Max 30 characters

  • Description (social): Max 255 characters

  • Description (carousel): Max 18 characters

  • Landing page URL: Unlimited

    • Must be a functioning webpage (no PDFs)

Landing page URL requirements

  • Must be a valid, functioning webpage (no PDFs). Users can maintain landing page content directly.

  • Ungated content is recommended.

  • Influ2 automatically appends these parameters:

    • utm_source=Influ2

    • utm_campaign (content or campaign ID)

    • utm_term (for internal tracking)
